[Statement]

What I want to express through my artwork is the preciousness and beauty of "things we take for granted". The overall concept of my artwork is how we should face others and ourselves in today's society, where various values are mixed together, and how we should relate to nature and human beings in order to coexist. I mainly use various techniques such as acrylic paint, mixed media, and pastels. I use the accidental flow of water and lines created after pouring a thin layer of paint onto the canvas. I combine my expression by moving back and forth between the conscious and the unconscious. By connecting different images on the canvas, I try to share various viewpoints and create new expressions. I am inspired by ordinary sights, objects, sounds, scents, memories, and atmospheres, and create an original style by passing them through my own filter.
